This might be a controversial remark, but that white girl needs to learn that black folk of this particular socio-economic class are not her friends. They might not say or do anything overt most of the time, but as this sort of behavior shows, when the SHTF, they group together and a lone white is great fun to hurt.

I'm not saying anything about African-Americans of a better class, they certainly exist, and can be identified pretty easily. But the ones of the lower order are tribal and clannish to the extreme, and predatory. There is sometimes a patina of surface civility in place, but at the least stressor, it's gone and the hatred shines through. One is safer to never associate with them at all.
