Have also seen the theory that she is a hermaphrodite. Her family could have allowed her at a young age to “choose” one or the other. Could explain the juvenile pictures of her looking like a girl. And if she had both female and male sex organs she could have taken some extra hormones and conceived. Creepy any way you look at it. No pun intended.
