When I was a boy, the saying was, A gentleman does not strike a lady.Exactly what my Dad taught me.
However, he also pointed out that a female who hit you without due provocation was no lady.
I was raised believing that too, but the current state of events have caused me to change at least my defensive response to a woman's attack. If the woman is the initiator of violence against me or mine, and they are armed or "ganging/packing up", my response will be the same as if it were an unprovoked attack by a male or males.
- One on one? No holds barred in defense of personal safety...
- Packing up or armed? Response in kind, no rules...
As I tell my kids: What you have is not yours if you can't defend it, and that includes your life...
