Hmmm I don’t remember, but I would think it does. It’s 200 sum odd miles away right now (at home). I’ll look when I get back. Are you thinking external DD? And does that mean it’s possible to “bypass” the virus or whatever & get it to boot up?
If you boot up Linux from USB, which should be possible, you might be able to root out the virus. I am assuming you can get into the BiOS to mae it boot from a USB before the hdd.
