It was 20 years ago this year, Pink Floyd began to disappear. But now it seems the classic British band is about to materialize again.
Polly Samson, the wife of the band's lead singer-guitarist David Gilmour, has announced via Twitter that a Pink Floyd album called

"The Rain, The Park, & Other Things" was recently covered by Olivia Newton-John. Not a fan of that cover but diehard Cowsill fans might want to check it out.
Great. Now I have to buy that Olivia Elton-John album.
Now that I have become fully aware of PF’s politics, agendas and machinations...they will not see another red cent out of my pocket, ever.
I won’t either.

And it was a nice send-off for Rick Wright. Great to hear Gilmour and Wright on "Echoes" one last time.
