The political alliance between a government and corporations is called “fascism,” and it has brought great suffering to people in past history. We are through with Costco, too. They may put this book back on the shelf, but they will continue to support anti- American policies with their political contributions. We now know who they are.

This situation creates an interesting choice for conservatives here in the reddest state in America (Oklahoma, in case you weren't aware) where Costco is just making its entrance in the Tulsa and OKC markets. There are plenty of consumers here who have wanted an alternative to Sam's so there is some pent-up demand. Also, the American attention span is notoriously short. I expect initial interest and membership will be strong but another misstep like this book might pose a real challenge in a red state where you are new in the market.
