In my husband’s case the woman dosed him so he could be easily robbed. After he passed out she left the hotel and he died in the room. We all knew it was murder but it would be hard to prove, hence manslaughter that was guaranteed to stick.

Something is weird here. This is a MAJOR case of killing your golden goose for her. Surely she saw she could have had a Sugar Daddy by the yacht. Why kill him?

He probably hadn't built up a tolerance for the quantity of heroin she gave him. Her actions - stepping over him to drink her wine while he's dying - screams 'sociopath'. She's not thinking long term - she's thinking 'saving his life would be a hassle'. Might ruin her afternoon...
