Forgiving those who harm us is un-Christian?

Oddly enough, it depends on what your definition of "forgiveness" is and how true forgiveness is to be obtained.

A polite thing to say? Just words? Absolution of all grievances? Unconditional release of responsibility for the offending one(s)?

Best not to hold grudges because that can plant seeds of bitterness which can keep you in soul-slavery to the offending one(s).

May be good to just keep your mouth shut and go on your way, allowing time for the offending ones to have a change of mind (heart) and come to you.

Of course, if it is a Christian brother, guidelines for how to handle the situation are given throughout Scripture, especially the newer part. If the Christian offender comes to his senses and asks forgiveness, the 70 times 7 standard applies.
