It's the most apt description for the shot of an amazing sunset behind the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during the World Cup final between Germany and Argentina.

The statue towers above the famed Maracanã where the final was played today.

I’m still astonished they scored 7 goals against Brazil, I can’t blame the Brazilians for having a national meltdown, that’s almost an unheard of score in soccer. How many games don’t have 7 goals scored in total by both teams!

It was a great defensive game. Although I was pulling for Germany I felt so bad for the Argentinian goalie when that ball went behind him. The look in his eyes was tragic.
