~~ Come on in and shoot the breeze! ~~
Welcome to Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio Network, the only nationally syndicated radio talk show about firearms, shooting and gun rights. Tune in on Sundays, 08:00-11:00pm EST, and give us a call at 1-866-825-5486.
I had $5500 into it; sold it for $6250, with 1000rnds 5.56 NATO ammo, Blackhawk Mil Bag, collapsible stock, pistol grip, Picatinny rails 360, tactical sling, EoTech glass, 5 extra 30rnd mags, 100-rnd BetaMag, and Suppressor ($800). Buyer (LEO) has FFL, so the FFL I occasionally work for part-time, did the transfer at 1pm today. I’d put under 5,000 rnds thru it over the years. Pristine condition.
Yeah, I thought it would be very heavy.
Bought the Surefire 60 last panic buy before we moved to VA. Embarrassed how much I paid for it. Haven’t even tried it yet. Ranges near McLean are farther away than Bethesda.
Dude, is that really your computer?
I’ve thrown 3 of those away since 1992 .
“And where do I get one?”
The FFL I know can build one for you, as it’s a hybrid.
If you interested, I’ll FRmail you his info.
Thanks! I’ll start saving for it and let ya know.
No Gun Talk “After Show” scheduled tonite...
John Batchelor Show coming on, though...
Aw crap, it’s Coast To Coast, not Batchelor! Nevermind!
What’s the matter? You don’t like aliens, UFOs and anti-GMO nuts?
Holy Carp Shorty!
I do, but in moderation, such as during a blue moon event. I’ll check for the next one.
I’ll miss it, but I have *much* better ones in the safe.
Have you tried the Surefire 60 round mag yet? On Surefine’s website they were listed at $159.00, are they cheaper at Brownels?
I have 15 of the Surefire 60-rnd mags, and they’re flawless, even on select-fire. 100-rnd are just too big.
$110 at Bronwell’s...
Thanks for the info, I think I will give them a try.
Do you have a mag loader? Lula or zipper-stripper?
or
Typo:
I have 5 of the Surefire 60-rnd mags, not 15. They still work flawlessly.
“Do you have a mag loader? Lula or zipper-stripper”
No, I just load them the old fashion way, but with a 60 round mag, I would think it would help to have a mag loader!
