I sleep well knowing that 500 years from now these people will be looked at like the people who imprisoned scientists for Heliocentrism.

They will forever be mocked and derided and their ancestors will not claim them. Relegated to the freaks/fringes bin of history...Which is actually the line we should take with this since so many ‘scientists’ wish to be remembered for their skill/knowledge/discoveries above all else.

Yeah...and they will be just emerging from a mini ice age...that lasted 500 years.

The suns magnetic field is declining...so by about 2020 there will be no sunspots...

Last time that happened there was a mini ice age that lasted from 1350 to 1750.
