A local radio lady pulled a rat out of Tampa Bay thinking it was a dog. She didn’t figure it out until she took it to the vet.
Yes, she’s blonde.

A number of years ago I was fishing from a jetty near our home, when a guy near me put down his rod and pulled a knife from his belt. "Look at the size of that rat", he exclaimed, pointing to an animal that was clinging to the rocks and getting battered by occasional waves as it tried to climb up the slippery surface. It was, of course, a possum. I scooped it into my long-handled landing net and dumped it into my bucket, then took it for a ride to a local patch of woods and let it go.
