I bought Sledge Hammer DVDs a few years back because of the fond memories I had of the show. My memory version of the show was better than what I saw on those DVDs. But then the poor quality of the DVDs may have had something to do with my lack of enjoyment.
80s shows tend to look a bit dated when watched today.
I have both of the “official” Sledge Hammer dvd sets with the commentaries and the quality is fine. Did you get some sort of bootleg copies?
