So in other words, it is wasted breath(bring jobs back, now. Just sayin').

None of those will ever happen until after the SHTF.

Actually we need real patriotism. If we had that we would elect leaders with the interests and needs of American citizens in his heart.

Economic patriotism is leftist BS. It means that businesses are supposed to take huge hits for the progressive movement to look good.

No thanks.

Economic patriotism is leftist BS.

EXACTLY!

Just because a person or political party claims to be conservative does not make them so.

I understand Cringing Negativism Network's frustration, but don't put the power to determine who is 'patriotic' and who isn't in the hands of the the ones who got us into this mess.

I agree, but this requires a very, very thorough house cleaning in the RINO party. Will it happen.

Eliminate Obamacare.

He likes that one though.

And I don't remember him EVER talking about rules, regulations or taxes he'd like removed.

Never saw him push for elimination of any government agency either.

I wonder if he's a concern troll?

Look you can strongly oppose me, but I’ll stand by my posting history.

Yes I came about one inch from being banned, precisely for the reason you mention.

The site owner, and a large portion of posters on this board, are members of a United States retirement plan of some sort, associated with the military.

I congratulate all of the members of that fine program. I understand that.

I will say, I am not the member of a United States military plan. I am (currently) a member of an insurance plan, associated with my employer. There is some concern on my part, that could at some point be at risk.

So I support Obamacare’s coverage. I admit that, and I understand that is a (strongly) minority stand on this board.

I don’t post about that.

I will not claim to oppose it, but I don’t post about it.

So please let it go. Thanks.

This starts with fiscal policy and law.

When the dollar is weak, foreign investments and products are more attractive.

Until we end the deficit problem we can’t attack the debt problem and therefore can’t properly address the dollar problem.

Imagine the strength of American currency and companies if we returned to being creditors rather than debtors...
I can dream can’t I?

We want the government to tighten their belts and make hard choices, but we continue to not make those same choices in our own lives. The more of us who buy, when we can, American, even at higher cost, the more competitive those companies will be in the long run. But without sound fiscal and monetary policy, those efforts are going to be minimized.

It’s two fold... speak with your economy, and speak with your votes.

Apparently too many Americans need to learn the hard way that government (communists, marxists, socialists, whatever) cannot and will not ever create wealth. That is what business does. And business provides the need for workers, that is jobs.

Then do not ask Americans to defend your rights, leave and good riddens.

I certainly would like to eliminate government agencies. But I haven’t seen any ability to do so in my lifetime. To do so would require a 60+ vote majority in the Senate. Unless of course we are willing to revise senate rules and get rid of the cr@p with majority vote. As far as I can see there is not enough testicular fortitude in “our guys” to do so. Still, one can hope.

And you are saying people who transport, sell and maintain and work on the production lines do not deserve money for providing a quality product? You sir, needs to be “riddensed”.

So tell us, to make America more attractive to business, to bring back American jobs, what steps should we take?

What taxes should we cut? What regulations should we repeal? What agencies should we eliminate?

List some steps we can take, instead of your idiotic slogan.

Spell it out......

Economic Patriotism = Kowtowing to unions.

Only 7% of the private sector workforce is unionized, the manufacturing sector is about 10% unionized. The trend is downward. The unions are almost dead my FRiend. We have an abundance if human and natural resources in this country, enough to be self sufficient. Bring the manufacturing home. Start creating wealth here in America.
