I’m a waterfowler and dove hunter. Waterfowling, if I get to shoot 5 times it’s a good morning. Dove hunting you don’t shoot magnums but you do shoot more often.

I wonder if the extra length and weight would be worth the trouble not wearing electronic ear protection?

The 12"/ 32oz unit would take some practice getting used to, I'd imagine. I would still wear some foam plugs, but not the sound-dampening, electronic headphones I do with non-suppressed firearms.

My local FFL is doing their line of suppressors for .22 and 9mm (almost ready), but nowhere near a 12ga.
