I’m a little surprised that there isn’t better screening for signs of potential child molesters or better monitoring of new recruits during their initial missions.

I think there’s currently a bit of a gap between the categories of victims and abusers. “Children” are potential victims, while “adults” are potential abusers. But what’s a 19-year-old boy/man?

If an adult homosexual or a woman high school teacher targets him, he can still be considered a “victim.” On the other hand, if he’s forcing himself on younger boys or girls, he’s an abuser.

I think the organizations just haven’t worked through the potential outcome and planned for them. Maybe evil is always a step ahead.
