I would side with you on this. I used to travel via air a lot and have witnessed a number of people over the years that played the “Do you who I am” card expecting to get their way. there are a lot of a-holes out there, just ask any airline gate agent.

As a retired really Frequent Flyer the whole point in gaining Top FF Status is to get privileged and sometimes Gate Agent Personnel need to hear “Do you know who I am” when it becomes necessary. They don’t like it? So be it.

This guy is obviously a Frequent Flyer on SW. I don’t tweet, but I would sure drop a note to SW Prez. Betcha the South West CS Agent at minimum got a reminder on the corporate purpose of FF program.

I agree...there are nice ways to convince people to give you what you want but being a bully and a Jerk isn’t the way to do it.

that being said, I can also understand wanting to make sure you are sitting with your kids, as a parent I wouldn’t want to chance a drunken pervert sitting next to my child a half a plane away...But if this is a priority for you fork over more cash to another airline where you have better odds of sitting with your children in flight

I was separated from my 3 year old son, once. I was pulled away for extra screening, while they told my baby that he could not come with, but had to board the plane alone! I guess I went a little asshole then, although I would call it grizzly mama.

And BTW, a customer reward is useless if you can't use it, because they won't let your children board with you.
