I remember distinctly the saying back then that “You can’t judge a book by its cover.”
Which meant, “I can grow my hair, including facial and body, as long and as nasty as I like, and never bath, change clothes, or clean myself up and you HAVE to like it.”
Yeah, that’s right, the great fleece wear trend. I’ve repeatedly said that if I had dictatorial power one of the few oppressive actions I would take would be to outlaw fleece wear. What a pathetic excuse for wearing pajamas all day long so one doesn’t feel fat.
