The Pantry is another iconic place to eat.

I worked three blocks away from there back in the 70’s. Ate Breakfast there at least once a week. The Omelets were so big that they would be hanging off the Plate.

Also used to hit the Original Tommy’s on Beverly. Double Cheeseburger with extra Chile, yum. When I worked Midnight Shift, that was Breakfast. Love the Shack...

It’s a wonder I haven’t needed a Heart Transplant yet.

BTW - Anyone remember Coopers Donuts in Downtown L.A.?

Never been to coopers. I took my dates into la side I started driving. Of corse Tommy’s for late night. Stand near the wall and use the shelf

The most Tommyburgers I’ve tried eating at once is two (the double chili-cheeseburgers), but I once watched a friend eat three—and survive.

Bringing back memories of Julie’s near the Coliseum....you couldn’t get near the place on USC football game days; the Obradovich family (former players) later bought it.
