I wonder if he has been identified publicly, perhaps in the hearing? It might give him some pause if the general public knew his identity.

The arresting officers should be identifiable within the publically available police report and court proceedings. Get their names, circulate on the PETA, Humane Society, etc discussion boards. Sit back and let nature take it’s course.
