I agree. But when my daughter’s friend showed up one day with two baggies full of pills I questioned the heck out of him. I told him in no uncertain terms to not bring any meds over unless they were in the original container. At the time she was hanging around with some shady characters.
I told her that if her friends didn’t show ID and consent to me searching their bag they were not allowed on our property. A couple were dumb enough to allow a search. I confiscated a few things and said if their parents came to get them they could have them back. No parent ever showed up.

I have put my pills in a zip lock bag if I am going to stay over at someone’s house before, they are my damned pills for my stomach condition dammit! Then I don;t have to mess with the container I can just toss the bag when I am done with them, am I breaking the law?

Hell we are all criminals of the police state...

Your personal property, your business.

We’re talking about the cops here. They work for us. They need to remember that.

I’m pretty sure you confiscating anything is illegal. On your property, you have only the right to trespass. No where were you empowered to play cop.
Now, good chance you were right about illegal use of medicine. What if you were wrong? Just doing what cops do and assuming the worst? And then something went wrong?
Don’t assume powers you don’t have. You don’t like the person, send them packing. Nothing else.
