Saw the report just before leaving work around midnight. Kept checking at home...thought there was some mistake. Didn’t get to sleep until after 2 waiting for details.
Up early still on my mind. No matter what turns out this is not going to end well for anyone involved.
Finally watched the videos. This is a tough call. Ward did needlessly put himself in harm’s way. Tony ...and the rest of the field for that matter... should have slowed. But it is a short dirt track, maybe not possible.
Bad, no tragic, decisions all around.
