“Every city in the world, technically, could have an Ebola case and should be preparing at the hospital level,” said Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease physician at UPMC. “I don't think this outbreak is going to be over for quite some time.”

Only four hospitals can handle a BSL-4 emergency right now. We know all about UPMC here in Pittsburgh. They like to promote all their employees as "World Class." They have become a moronic joke with their unethical business practices.

I propose if they are so great, they should turn UPMC East into an EBOLA center. The unnecessary hospital has all private rooms. Dr. Adalja could lead the effort, though I doubt many employees will be around for long.

He did strike me as a great deal less of a pollyanna in this article.
