Hubby and I are hooked on this one. More like vampires than zombies; but, it is very brutal and gory. Also, nudity.

Also, guy's penis falls off into the toilet, he shrugs and flushes it, and you see him standing there and he looks like a Ken doll. I just wasn't sure what to make of that. The next ep it is explained, somewhat; but, it was a very strange scene. Yet, I find the show interesting.

My husband once commented that The Walking Dead is about societal breakdown. The way it used to be alien invasion as a proxy for our fear of communism; now, it is zombies working out our fear of societal breakdown.

The existence of baby Judith is, to me, as sign of hope - that they haven't given up on humanity. I wonder if she will play a part in the remedy of the human race, a baby born AFTER the apocalypse while everyone is said to already be infected?

There are diseases where the baby isn’t infected except upon contact with maternal bodily fluids - like HIV.
And Judith may have been conceived while Lori was fleeing Atlanta with Shane, possibly conceived during the pandemic’s spread but not infected. In that case, she might be disease free (if she didn’t get it from someone else) or have resistance/immunity to it.
But that’s a route the comics couldn’t explore because she died with her mother in the books.
