Methinks “Christian Research Institute” really likes TWD and is justifying it. Why not just admit that you watch it like you watch a car wreck? If it is any “deep”, it just means that there is no hope as everybody’s going to end up a zombie anyway. Until you blow out their brains.

No, I don't think CRI is trying to "justify" anything. Just making comments about one of the currently most popular series on TV and tying it to a broader look at the intrinsic value of human life, created in the image of God. I am adamantly pro-life, so I appreciated the connection the author made to a TV show I also like.

Yes, I watch the TV program The Walking Dead! I take it you don't because if you had you would know that it is a well written series that looks deeply into the question of what we are capable of doing as human beings. "How far will you go to stay alive?", is one of the central questions and seeing how the characters began at the start and how they developed throughout unspeakable circumstances while trying to remain human is, I think, something we should all consider about ourselves. Granted, I'm not at all scared that there is a coming zombie apocalypse, but we don't really know how bad it will get as this world edges ever closer to the end times.

If we are all zombies who will be left to blow out our brains.
The Walking Dead is good entertainment I never try to over analyze good entertainment. October is almost here.
