Women naturally want to look attractive, as do men. There's a reason the ladies aren't making the effort.

Given what I know about Middle Eastern "men", they probably don't allow their wives to shave, primp, wear makeup or do anything else to make themselves pretty. To do so would be, in the man's eyes, an effort to turn on other guys. And we know the punishments that come from that.
