Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old whose shooting by a police officer set off more than a week of unrest in Ferguson, Mo., was struck by at least six bullets, including two to the head, according to a former New York City medical examiner.

The autopsy results came as a march protesting Mr. Brown's Aug. 9 death erupted in chaos Sunday night when police forced back demonstrators in a cloud of smoke and a hail of sizzling canisters.

Michael M. Baden, who conducted a second, private autopsy Sunday for the Brown family, said wounds to the head and brain were the likely cause of death.

The charts are preprinted. You have to have some place to chart wounds to the soles of the feet, thus the display. Same story with wounds in the top of the arms versus underside.

Michael M. Baden, who conducted a second, private autopsy Sunday for the Brown family...

This is the second of three autopsies on this kid's body, isn't this getting more than a little ghoulish? Why not just have representatives from the different interests attend the same autopsy and ensure the rules of evidence and chain of custody are enforced?

The tox screen usually takes 10-14 days in a high profile case.

Hollow points. Looks like they all stayed in the body.

He died of natural causes. You get shot in the eye, you are going to naturally die.

So what drugs was Brown on when he attacked the policeman?

Oh course, I assume that Holder's DOJ wants to suppress that information as well as the store robbery and roughing up people at the store. After all it doesn't support the desired story line!

“Without knowing where the exit wounds are positioned relative to the entrance wounds it is hard to say for sure whether his hands were raised in a “surrender” position or out in front of him in an “attack position.”

BS. There were six shots according to the autopsy. They can see where four of them went into the head and neck. The other two caused multiple wounds in the arm that clearly show the path of the bullets. His arms were not in the air when those bullets hit his arms. His right arm was out in front of him.

The other thing they can tell from the scene is if he was shot while on the ground as was claimed at one point. That too did not hold up.

How tall he was also shows that the bullets did not hit him when he was kneeling on the ground. Remember geometry.

This report is from the families side of the line but it supports the officers story.

That’s not terrible shooting for a cop under pressure. I don’t believe “no exit wounds”, not even with hollow points. The shots in the hand and the arms should have exits (unless they just grazed on their way to the head and torso).

Interesting grouping. Pretty much all to the right side of the body, with one through the right eye, and one at the top of the skull.

Another article explained that his arms were down because the bullets went into the front. If he’d had his arms raised the bullets would have gone into the back of his arms.

When this is over, the officer needs to adjust his rear sight at least two clicks to the right.

Apparently, the cop wasn’t a very good shot.

Without knowing where the exit wounds are positioned relative to the entrance wounds it is hard to say for sure whether his hands were raised in a “surrender” position or out in front of him in an “attack position.

But it's not hard to say that none were in his back and he wasn't on his knees begging for mercy.

Not if the arm was in line with the path of the bullet. That would be consistent with him having his arms at his sides, pumping them as he charged toward the officer. And totally inconsistent with standing with his arms over his head.

That looks like yesterday (08/17/2014), with a slash through the '7'.

Possibly. I can accept that. Still looks like a loop on that digit, though.
