It’s all good, but I would say St. Thomas, Frenchman’s Reef Resort. It is self contained, stunning views, fab beach - and there’s a ferry every 30 minutes that takes you to downtown Charlotte Amalia in 12 minutes….where there is shopping and site seeing and restaurants, etc, local flavor.
Combo of resort feel, and local feel, within minutes. And like I said, STUNNING views.

It was the location of what our entire family thought was our best vacation ever - and it was over Thanksgiving.
When you need a change of pace for Thanksgiving or Christmas, I think warm weather and beaches are a great choice. The gulf coast of Florida, the Keys, are also great. My second choice might be Marathon in the Keys. You can do that in budget.
Jamaica too, but hard to do that on budget.
