Dittos to the rest! Tomatoes TRYING to ripen. Deer eating our corn, beans, sweet potatoes. Going to put in low tunnels next year. MIght help with both cold and critters. Still waiting for second crop of raspberries. Should be a good one if we don’t get an early frost.
I turn the channel whenever the marxist muslim comes on. Can’t stand the sound of his voice, nor his ugly mug. It’s like looking at the devil himself. Ugh!
We moved almost all our plants off our balcony. They were infested with little white bugs. Started on some parsley we got at the garden center.
So you didn’t suffer listening to BO speaking about Iraq and Fergusen yesterday. It was beyond inane. Spoke for a good 15 minutes and said nothing! We listened because we were waiting for The Five.
Hope PaMom is OK. Prayers continue. Wondrer if the perps knew no one would be home. If so they might have been professionals.
Can’t recall if I mentioned it but today mrs p6and are,are married 36 years. She got a new 21 piece Temptaions set in Fall Fiesta pattern. I also got her a set of 4 dancing solar babies...boy and girl pilgrims, scarecrow and turkey. A buck each from Dollar Tree online. We sure know how to party...not!

No. I waited for the guy to come and install our new hot water heater. Then had to wait for DIL to drop off grandbaby and then off to pick up Mr S. Didn’t get a chance to watch any tv at all. I really like “The Five”. I can catch up on Roku.
I was wondering about PaMom as well. Was talking about it yesterday with Mr S. I think I’d be inclined to move at that point. Of course, when you have kids still in school, it’s difficult.
I thought I’d heard, this morning, that the perp - Brown - in Ferguson, Mo was high on a very powerful kind of marijuana. That’s why he still came at the cop when he was shot the first time. Did I hear that they did THREE separate autopsies on the guy??? I get too much disjointed news when I’m listening but too busy to pay attention!
Yup three autopsies! Holder will keep redoing until he gets what he wants. Typical rat!
I get two grandkids today. Going to keep them busy by helping me clean. Free labor! They fight over who gets to run the sweeper. A couple more years and that will end. Have to take advantage while we can.

Just catching up on the incident with PA Mom. Just awful; must be very unneverving.
p6, I don’t know if you remember a few years ago in Crafton there were a series of break-ins (maybe 5 or 6 times) on Promenade Street, which was almost around the corner from where I used to live. The perps would watch and wait until people left their houses, and would break in sometimes 15 minutes later. Police said it looked like an “inside” (in-neighborhood) job. Don’t think I ever heard if they caught them.
Yes, I remember that. IIRC at least one perp was caught but like most things around here it was kept quiet. At least one TV was recovered as well.

We are mostly ok. I am trying to move past the loss of my “stuff” but when I think about it again, I get this punched in the gut type feeling. That coupled w/this being my youngest sons first day of his Senior year, I’m back to being overly emotional today. I haven’t slept more than a couple hours the last two nights.
Yesterday we noticed an unmarked car (municipal plates) driving thru the neighborhood, so the police are at least monitoring the area.
And and Sneakers, I do want to move (but can’t). Police mentioned “known bad actors” that live in my neighborhood, and that we had a car LEFT in our driveway was an indicator that “someone” either knew how many people were in the house or was just lucky that we all left. We could have left the 17 year old home...he had summer HS homework packets that he put off til the past weekend. That causes my feelings of panic (attacks?) to start up.
For the shower, my son and fiancé had his car (w/20 yr son), my daughter and GBaby in their car (w/17 year son) and DH and in the Jeep (rear sets down w/ all the coolers)...other shower “stuff” in trunks of the other 2 cars.
Daughters car stayed at the shower; 2 younger sons unloaded coolers and left IMMEDIATELY w/PaDad (made a quick Shmisquit stop at Sheetz and were gone LESS than 35 minutes. Robber was in and out and went thru our dresser and night stand drawers and our medicine cabinets. Officer mentioned it was GOOD that DH keeps his insulin needles in an unconventional place (a thief knowing were they can easily get needles equals return visits). Did NOT take electronics (even as small as sons iPad) but did take cash and debit card from 20 yr olds wallet (left on kitchen table as he didn’t want to lose it carrying all that stuff). He cancelled his card right away.
I spent yesterday going to 3 local gold/diamond buying places dropping off a drawing I made of my wedding set. There are ALOT of safeguards built into these places buying jewelry; and police DO send out descriptions listed on Incident Reports, but I felt like I was doing something by visiting these shops. Today, if I can get some rest, I’ll go to ones in Greensburg.

I’m so sorry you have to go through all of this, and will pray that you recover your wedding set and other valuables. Also hope they catch the @%*#%(!!s responsible.
Did you look into an alarm system?
Its no fun having your stuff ripped off by some drug addled moron.
Get a Alarm. ADT has a good set up and it provides peace of mind. I have one and the cat set it off once at 3 AM and before I could disregard the police I had 3 cruisers outside my house.
I think is also can lower your homeowners.
