Most people will always say that a movie that has been redone never should have been redone (the older someone is, the more they are apt to feel that way too). There are probably a few movies of course that is as good as better than the original (like True Grit?). There are also a few movies that might be nice to see remade if the original has a nice concept but was horribly directed or some movies might serve better updated for the times. What movie(s) would you like to see redone?

Remaking classic movies suck. tehy are doen because there is no creativity in Hollwood. Just look at the ones they did.
“Guys and Dolls.” It’s a great musical, a real classic, and Marlon Brando single-handedly put it in the toilet. It would be fun to see Hugh Jackman as Sky Masterson. :)
No kidding. Anakin should have been cast closer to John Connor in T2 and if they did do the whole pod race stupidity, he should have won dirty (force choke or something) and been chewed out for it by Qui Gon.

Alien...... The sets look cheezy today, Surely this movie could be done better with Michelle Rodriquez as Ripley. And the original is racist with the only black (Yaphette Kotto) being a grunt instead or running the show
Between the ‘80s version and the miniseries done last decade it’s been done kinda wrong twice. Third times the charm, huh?

I’d like them to re-do The Hunger Games as 3 TV mini-series, the way they should have done it in the first place.

Did you ever listen to the audio book? It’s great. It’s voiced by multiple readers, so it’s more like a radio play. Best audio book I’ve ever listened to.

Now, now I like Marlon Brando in that, although they did have to cut that one great song because he couldn’t sing it.
But, sure I could go for a remake of that.
