Thanks. Those are good ones too. They reused an “Awful Truth” plot element in “His Girl Friday” where Grant schemes to keep his ex-wife from marrying Ralph Bellamy in that film as well.

My favorite Cary Grant B & W film is “Only Angels Have Wings” (with Rita Hayworth in one of her earliest roles) and my favorite of his color films is Alfred Hitchcock’s “North By Northwest”. I think his most underrated film is the WWII comedy adventure “Once Upon A Honeymoon”(also directed by Leo “The Awful Truth” McCarey).

'They reused an “Awful Truth” plot element in “His Girl Friday”...yeah you're right. The same with The Front Page(1931) Adolphe Menjou, Pat O'Brien which was the first version of that and a fine film too.

I don't think I've seen “Once Upon A Honeymoon” thanks I'll look for it....

For screwball comedies, I also liked Mr. Blandings Builds His Dreamhouse, with Cary Grant, Myrna Loy, and Melvyn Douglas.
