I was in Alaska in 1964 for the 9.2, and El Centro, CA for the 7.3 on Easter Sunday a few years ago. No big deal in the news then. I guess I am just a little more used to the earth moving then most people. I remember the big one in 64. I do not remember the El Centro one, but I do remember Northridge, I think it was in 94.

For Northridge, I was in Monrovia at the time. I worked for McDonald Douglas.
