The dictator in chief is planning to bum-rush the Senate over his gorebull warming.

Not to be confused with Baume's Law.

It will take decades to undue all of Obama’s damage. If ever.

No confusion here. Three strikes and you’re out.

I’m incredulous over the number of Freepers and Tweeters who write “would of” instead of “would’ve” or “would have.” It shows a complete ignorance of basic grammatical forms.

Sorry. I’m getting ready for the delivery of my new washer and dryer. No time for the Internet this AM.

Good grief. Upon removal of my old dryer, we discovered an old vent path — a 6 inch hole in the floor that we did not realize was there. Truly a field mouse boulevard where the Mouse King and his army bum-rushes my house in the Fall every year.

Quick! Fix the floor before the new dryer gets here. Only time to paint the backs of the holes where the washer and dryer go. The rest of the room will have to wait for later.

What brand did you decide to get? We got a GE, and it is bigger on the inside(like a TARDIS) and much quieter than the old Maytag. It takes longer to wash but spins at much higher speeds so it’s a good replacement for us.

We chose an LG set. The dryer has steam. I really wanted to go $500 higher and get the larger washer with steam too, but my husband did not think it was necessary. He’s probably right.

One thing that I discovered (too late) is that I could have saved $$$ by choosing a different store. We went with Best Buy for convenience. BUT I discovered that Home Depot and Lowes extended warranties are cheaper than Best Buy, although their prices on the units were all about the same.

I’m sorry, why do you want your drying device to introduce moisture?

To remove wrinkles and to sanitize. The steam cycle is mostly used on dry cleanables (wool, etc.) that just need freshening. Also on pillows, stuffed animals, etc. that cannot be washed.

I’m told that the steam cycle on the washer loosens dirt and makes it easier to remove. But, I don’t have that.

I would contact Best Buy and tell them you want them to match that warranty price. You have a little window of time to negotiate with them.

No silly, but it is .5 cubic ft. bigger than our previous basket. And this one is stainless steel, which was recommended on the consumer report buyers guide.

where do you stand on reclining? personally I think it's incredibly rude for people to recline. When I had a child on my lap and people reclined, I made minimal efforts to keep them from bumping/kicking the seat back, bc I felt like they were asking for it. I flew from Maui to Phoenix without reclining an inch and managed to sleep the entire way, so it's totally unnecessary and inconsiderate to the person whose lap you are laying in, behind you.
