Here in PA we are still paying a “temporary” tax that was imposed to clean-up the Johnstown Flood of 1936!

Taxes never go away, no matter what the politicians tell you.That's not true. The telephone tax that was imposed to help pay for the Spanish American war in 1898 was finally repealed in 2006.
So, there's still hope.
