Chase Elliot is a monster talent in my view. He’s got all the driving and setup ability. Great gene pool and obviously well instructed. What’s amazing these days is that when these kids turn 18 they already have 10 years of competitive driving experience, a bunch of it in high level series.

Mosport is a neat old track, going back to the day of the TransAm in the 60s as I remember.
Fun race to the finish by those two guys.

No, they have some kinda problem. There is no more Catch Can, it is all part of the filler neck and has been for a few years. It is like F1/Indy Car- one connection fills and vents back to the fuel can.
I'm thinking a bad flap spring.
What surprises Me is that NASCAR is letting them keep running.

Yep!
I think we need more Road Races. Mid Ohio,Road America are great Tracks. I'd like to see all 3 Series run them.
Oh yeah, BTW Sonoma SUCKS IMO.

I was in the stands at the race at Darlington when Bill won the Winston Million. Chase seems to be a down to earth guy. It would be nice to see him do as well.

A friend of my won the Permatex 200 at Riverside in the early 70s. He was and is a dairy farmer nearby and still races a couple of times a year
