Welcome to UFC 177 Live thread.

If you haven't heard the main event changed at the last minute due to Renan Barao passing out during his weight cut yesterday. He is replaced by Joe Soto.
This is Joe Sotos very 1st fight with the UFC and it is a title fight! Talk about a Cinderella story. If Joe Soto somehow pulled off a win against bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw against all odds it would be the upset of all upsets.
I don't see that happening but hey, on any given day, right?

Absolutely nothing against Dillashaw but I’ll be pulling for Soto, since he is such an underdog in the fight.

Props to Dillashaw for not pulling a Jon Jones and putting his belt on the line and keeping the event alive.

That being said it would be totally amazing high drama to see the underdog prevail against the champion in his 1st UFC fight.

I'll be pulling for Soto as well.

Yea, if this was JBJ’s fight he would’ve pulled out somehow and left the card in worse shape. Big thumbs up to Dillashaw!

Truth be told this is probably the lamest card in UFC history. So not worth $60.

Called that sleeper right.

Next up:

Lightweight bout Damon Jackson vs. Yancy Medeiros

Jackson ftw.

Rogan interviewing Bararo, asking the hard questions. Good interview. Joe should be in politics.

Cutting 10 kilos (22 lbs.) at his size is pretty sizable. Although, I imagine he’s not an outlier in that sense. Did I hear correctly that he did NOT make weight???

Joe did say that but I don’t know that Bararo ever even weighed in.
