Divorce American Style - with Dick Van Dyke and Debbie Reynolds (1967). It was played on one of the movie channels - I think Encore as there were no commercials - within the past year or so.

A Guide for A Married Man (1967) was Walter Mathau’s with Inger Stevens who died fairly young (35). This one plays on occasion on TCM.

Both have some classic lines, and capture some of the social essence of the 1960s.

Yes, “A Guide For A Married Man” is the movie which I had in mind. Thank you!

I also remember that Inger Stevens committed suicide.
