Though August there has been approximately an 80% increase in Ice Volume over August 2012

Sentences beginning with the word "though" usually continue in the subordinate clause with a "yet" or "nevertheless" or such, so as to mitigate the statement made in the primary clause.

There's also an "in" missing. I believe your headline should thus begin:

"Though in August there has been approximately an 80% increase in Ice Volume over August 2012..."

and continue with

"...nevertheless, [e.g.] Global Warming is still a threat..."

Of course, it is only the headline of your posting, so I guess that one could overlook a certain degree of confusion.

Regards,

This must be agitprop lies. algore assured us that the internal earth temperature is millions of degrees and all ice (including in our refrigerators) would cease to exist by now. algore (and his pin-headed idiot followers) wouldn’t lie to us...would they?
