My sister had an MGB, before I was old enough to drive.

She let me sit in it and start it up, feeling the engine vibrate.

Too many maintenance issues, she got rid of it.

My first car was a ‘62 MG Midget. I could never keep it running long enough or get it going fast enough for it to pose much of a risk to anyone ;’)

You and me both. I had a Midget back in the day. I would wax it with Blue Coral, make sure it was tuned to perfection...and I’m sure you know the rest!
