If you run the 32-bit version of Palemoon, it will accept most of the Firefox extensions/add-on, because FF is 32-bit. The 64-bit version of Palemoon has trouble with many of the FF add-ons.
I have been using Palemoon on my laptop. I actually prefer it. I am about ready to install it on my desktop computer, too.
So do you think that some of the commenters above who had problems with FF add-ons were running Pale Moon 64bit, when they should have been using Pale Moon 32-bit? Would PM 32-bit be less buggy?
