Interesting. I always thought that it just referred to large, comfortable automobiles.

I had a 66 Cadillac Coupe De Ville. It was 19’ long with a huge trunk. Black leather interior auto temp control. What a great car.

See my 225 in post 46. This is just about a dead match to the car that carried me as a teenage Romeo.

Gotta love that roofline...

I had a brown one of those. It hurt a little bit and it took several flushes for it to go down.

Another really cool one that you don't see much is the '72 T-Bird, which in that era was the same size as the Lincoln Mark.
It only looked good that one year, imho. Those massive bumpers in '73 ruined it. Some cars worked OK with chrome battering rams, others didn't. This is one of them.

1964 Ford Galaxy 500. Except for the wheels I had one like this in the late '70s.

1959 Pontiac Bonneville
I remember my grandparents had a Bonneville around that time and one day I asked my grandfather (I was about 8 or 9) "What's it got in it?"
He replied "everything except birth control"...
Then I responded "what's birth control?"
He said "go ask your mother".........LOL!

My cousin’s husband has one almost identical, he just left the Ford factory mags on it with Michelin redlines.

I had a 1974 Lincoln Mark IV. That was a great cruising car.
