Did they get a macho Reardon? Reardon is a bit part in AS3. John Galt is the macho lead in this movie.
This movie is set in 'today' with a script from the 1950s - that's why younger people think it's 'corny'. My guess is the producers wanted it to come off this way to show what a visionary Rand was 60 years ago.

Those books take a thousand pages to tell a story that 400-500 would have done with some effective editing....
I think it might also be the Russian style, which tends to be long. I base this on having read other Russian authors.

The local theater in my area didn’t carry AS3 either.
I’ve seen all three parts in theaters. None had a greater audience than a few dozen people, including today. The applause was the loudest and longest today (I started it, though, all three times).

Thanks for the ping. Think I’ll wait for the DVD. That’s how I watched to first two parts.
I realize the producers made this on a shoestring and good for them. I wish they had been able to convince the actors to hang around for all three parts.
