When he was coaching at IU, he raised many millions for their library. He also had most of his students get degrees. Unfortunately for him , he didn’t suffer pompous professors and administration well. IU did him wrong...very wrong. If I were him, I’d only return if the moronic professors and administration involved in harassing him issued a formal public apology.

You are absolutely correct on all points. The Marxist professors constantly attacked him because they were jealous of the money and attention he received. Yes, he’s an arrogant jerk, but he’s arguable the best basketball mind alive. Definitely one of the greatest ever. He got booted by a ridiculous zero tolerance policy crafted by the equally arrogant and radically leftwing president of the university.

If I were him at some point, I would go back in spite of the idiots on the academic side. Dick Vitalle is right, the court needs to be named the Robert Montgomery Knight Court. He is due that honor, and it would be tremendous for the program.

Having been an adult student at PSU, I have that trait very much in common with him .. LOL !
