I’ve fought 6 parole hearings, only to have my 16 year old son’s killer who ambushed Jeremy on his way home from school just a few hundred yards from home, beat him to death with a 2 ft section of fence post, just for the jollies to see what it felt like to kill. Walk free after his lousy plea bargained sentence of 20 yrs. I made him serve every day until he maxed out his ‘good or should I say bad’ behavior days. 14.5 yrs including the 2 yrs it took to reach the plea deal, of which I had NO SAY. First hearing was just 10 months after he copped his plea deal.
He now walks the streets of TN a free man. And I CCW.
Dear God., I am praying for some peace for you and justice for your son. About 5 years before your son was murdered our son was killed by a guy who ran a red light. Nothing happened to the red light runner and he turned around and asked us to buy him a new car because the wreck totaled him. I have finally with the help of God been able to put it all behind me. I pray that you will be able to do the same.
