Jameis Winston, who has been suspended for Florida State's game against Clemson, showed up before the game in full pads and started to warm up with his teammates before being sent back to the locker room by head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Winston was originally suspended from just the first half of the game for yelling a profanity-laced statement in front of fellow students on campus. That suspension was later increased to the full game when the school reportedly learned that Winston lied about the full nature of what had happened.

Despite the suspension, Winston appeared to be going through all of his normal pre-game routine, dressed in full pads.

However, Fisher pulled Winston aside and appeared to scold the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback and even looked annoyed.

The look on Fisher's face says it all.

This was Fisher and Winston throwing double birds to the world. Jimbo should be fired, Jameis should be tossed out of school.

“He has the maturity of a five year old!”

He will fit in fine in the NFL.

* The top athlete shouted obscenities in the middle of campus on Tuesday

* He told a press conference that he intended to 'tone it down'

* There was criticism the initial half-game punishment was too light

* He has also been accused of stealing soda from a Burger King and shoplifting crab legs from a Publix supermarket

They should’ve fed him crab legs.

Jameis Winston is a bum. He raped that girl and Forced Sex University
and coach Bimbo Fisher covered it up and let him play. Winston should be in prison where prisoners yell, “F*ck him right in the ass”!

Betcha, the fact the FSU beat Clemson without him playing will do more to straighten his dumb-ass out then anything else...

Maybe he will realize he's part of a TEAM and it's not all about him...

"Maybe he will realize he's part of a TEAM and it's not all about him... "

When does it become racist to hold him to civilized standards?

He should have not been allowed in the stadium. It tells me that temporary banishment would have been too insensitive for a black man to endure-double standard. So now he warns up pre game and still doesn’t get it. Blame the coach. It WILL get worse now that the team really struggled without him.

College football has become a cash cow behemoth.

The very reason for it has become so corrupted that it, literally, is too big to fail.

Those in CFB that protect these players and shield them from any outside criticism and play them in spite of anything they do are despicable vultures that do not deserve to be where they are.

The attitude is trickling down into the high school ranks, now.

This Winston kid is a moron.

He is claimed to be some kind of savant when playing football, but we all know that savants are truly idiots.

He has raped, stolen, assaulted, cheated...I don't know what all, yet is still the hero of Florida.

Disgusting.

Much like that nit wit man-child Cam Newton.

A thief and a cheat, protected by the school for the sole reason that he led them to a championship. Rumor has it that the NFL has a lock on him so tight that he can't even go to the urinal by himself.

I will say, to his credit, he has not been involved in anything else, yet.

But the CFB program is a sad situation, not likely to improve because of the massive amounts of money involved.

I shudder to think of the impact on society that some of these young men/boys will have, when they realize in a few years that their bodies have been used and abused and they are now cast aside.

The problem has always existed, but it is now exacerbated by the obscene amounts of money involved, most of which the young athlete will never see in his pocket.

Yeah, you probably know those Duke lacrosse players were all guilty too. We know that anytime someone is accused of sexual assualt they’re automatically guilty.

For Winston it’s ultimately all about making it in the NFL. His story is an old one, and the implications of his behavior will not be lost on teams in the NFL who have a chance to draft him. More and more players like Winston are viewed as not worth the price and headache. He will have a shorter career and make less money. Certainly he’ll be broke by age 30.

As I posted last night, during the game, on a local sports board: Watching his (Winston's) demeanor and actions along the sideline, including involving himself in offensive sideline timeout huddles, makes me think Jimbo has not exactly taken hold of the situation.
