The irony is that they are doing this to try to be pro-feminist, but the only way they are going to get any of the young males who are their traditional market to buy this is to have her running around in skimpy outfits and showing some skin.

Don’t bet on it. The only market left for comics nowadays are adult collectors, because children don’t buy them anymore. Any issue like this is probably going to be bought up just because the novelty of it may make it collectible.

I doubt the change will last long though.

Actually I think it would do pretty well. They had run out of ideas of what Thor could do, this will open up new stories. Remember, this isn’t the Nordic god Thor, this is the comic book character Thor (the actual Nordic myth Thor had red hair for instance)
