The earliest snow spotting in Chicago is Sept. 25, which occurred in 1928 and again in 1944, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturdays snowflakes mark the third earliest snow sighting since the city began recording.

Yup.
We had the worst winter on record (the winter of 2013-2014), an incredibly mild summer, a cooler-than-normal fall (thus far), and the pundits are predicting the winter of 2014-2015 will be worse than last winter!
And they harp about global WARMING???

My nephew leaves for Great Lakes Training Center tomorrow. Hope it I not as cold as last year.
Clearly this is the fault of the NRA.......clearly.
What will be funniest is all the hipsters who moved here wondering what happened. The City can barely manage when the weather is warm and clear.
