There they the ones who aren't are exceptions. In fact, John Crudele is one of the exceptions. He had a story in the New York Post detailing how that 7.9% number was entirely made up. He did a column on how it was created, how it was artificially manufactured, and how they massaged it to make it 7.9%. He did a piece on how it was illegitimate, and he had been warning prior to the number how they were gonna do it.

So he did a column detailing how they did it and so forth. But my guess is most of the reporters were laughing in support. They laughed at the audacity! I mean, everybody knew it was coming, and they did it! They didn't try to hide it, and I think they were laughing at the audacity. There has been some laughing at them, but I don't remember too many business reporters doing stories which questioned the legitimacy of the number.

John Crudele, New York Post, was one. But I don't believe there were a lot of those stories where the whole thing was held up at phony. But this today is just as illegitimate. This 5.9% number is even more illegitimate than the 7.9% number. There's no way that this country has an economy producing jobs with an unemployment rate of 5.9%. It just isn't happening. Take a look around.

There's a reason Obama's having to do speeches and tell people, "The economy is going great, you just don't feel it." They don't feel it because it isn't real.

This is what I have believed all along. There is no way this economy is doing anything but LOSING jobs -- and at a rapid, accelerating pace. Unemployment is probably more like 15% if the real numbers were ever revealed.

Need more jobs?
Redefine what constitutes a “job”.

Under Obozo’s regime, FOUR HOURS A WEEK counts as a job for the BLS. I heard (unverified) that one hour would count in the stats as a job.

Need better SAT scores? Every 10 years raise the floor, i.e. “recenter”.

Need lower inflation to save money on SS etc? Easy, remove from the formula those things that are going up.

Need a bigger GDP? Fake lower inflation (above) and add made up numbers for non goods and services.

Need a smart President? Put his academic records under lock and key, then call him brilliant.

Need more mainstream gun crime? Easy, combine the gang murders in Chicago & LA with the middle class legal carriers.

And on and on and on.

Sometimes I swear they take the number of jobs LOST in a given month and just make it into a positive number. There is no way there has been even one month of job growth under this communist regime — let alone 55 or whatever they are claiming to be the case.

Also, I thought the tax increase last year was just for “rich people.” Since Obama came in, my income taxes have more than doubled and I an FAR from rich!
