wanting to know the guy flying the plan is sober is whiny? I’ve flown a lot and seen a lot of crappy treatment by airlines.

From the article “But it was delayed several hours after another passenger accused the pilot of being intoxicated. “

That would likely be some of the airlines PR people who probably then contacted the gate. What a cushy job! Imagine being hired to watch Twitter posting all day. Perfect for the Obama crowd.

Last night, I was a single female at the Philadelphia airport at midnight by myself. JetBlue never asked if I had transportation, accommodations and did not offer to book me another flight....”
I’m confused. I thought they were all strong independent Wymen who don’t need any special treatment ?

It’s relevant because she made her name known with the airline the flight she was on. I don’t care what she tweets, or what she complains about, but she made herself visible with the tweet. That’s why it’s relevant.

For 15 years I was flying weekly until August this year when I decided to change careers. Commercial flying sux. But I’d put money that this VICTIM did something to be the only person not let back on the plane. I’ve seen more bad passengers than I have bad crews. The article smells funny, something is missing.

So what if she made her name known?

Perhaps, the problems usually start with crappy service by the airlines.
I saw one guy complaining at the gate. He was not out of line at all.
The agent called security because the guy asked for the agents name.

I don’t care who she is, or what she said, but someone at the airline obviously did and the flight # associated with the tweet is how they found out who she was.

I work in the industry. I could tell some stories. As an FA, I’m sure you could too. And your right, as a dispatcher, if someone even joked about me being on duty drunk, or on drugs, legal or illegal, I would be yanked off line, and sent right to the drug an alcohol folks. Saying something like that is the same thing as joking about bombs or hijacking, IMHO..

I figured maybe Pajama Boy did that when he wasn’t shilling for Obamacare.

Two takeaways ...
- Don't tweet under your real name
- Sue them!

Who reads/follows Twitter? How would the airline know what one of the passengers says? My thought exactly. There appears to be some relevant information missing from the story.
