I was studying to be a nurse quite a few years ago. I had 1 year left before achieving a BSN when I changed majors. I realized my heart wasn’t in it.

May I ask what direction you went in after deciding against nursing? You’re brave, and good for you! I would have probably finished it out even knowing my heart wasn’t truly in it just because I’d put all the time in already. This is one reason I never went for a degree. I regret it now, but I just could never make up my mind about which career I truly wanted. I was tugged every which way, not focused enough.
